Celebrate America Recycles Day! Held on and around November 15 each year, America Recycles Day encourages individuals to 

1. Be more mindful of what they consume,
2. Know where and how to properly recycle, and 
3. Make a pledge to recycle more and "recycle right" every day. 

What you can do:

• Shop at a secondhand store
• Check to see if products you purchase contain recycled materials
• Find out what qualifies as hazardous waste and where to take it
• Check your knowledge and take the recycling quiz
